5 Ways to completely relax in the Yarra Valley

As summer begins to draw to a close and work and school are back in full swing it’s time to think about taking a little time out to retreat and relax in the colder months and what better way than in the beautiful Yarra Valley. 2. Stroll through Alowyn Gardens

Walk through the wisteria or climbing roses at the well known archway in Alowyn, featuring 7 different kinds of plantings throughout the entire garden you can make it educational and informative or simply enjoy the ambience of the bird and plant varieties before taking refreshments in the cafe.

3. Eat at Innocent Bystander

Take your group down to enjoy some share plates, pizza, paella and live music at Innocent Bystander. With a large selections of wines but also offering cider and some well made coffee, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

4. Drink at Coldstream Brewery and Domain Chandon

5. Visit the Tarrawarra Museum of Art

An indoor activity perfect for a rainy day is a visit to Tarrawarra in nearby Healesville. Displaying art form the second half of the twentieth century right through to the present day, they have new exhibitions and events occurring all year round.
